Terms of Service
Unfold is a quiet space to reflect: questions to sit with, a private place to write, and — only when you choose — a way to share a reflection with your Circle or on your personal page.
These Terms are the agreement between you and Unfold. By creating an account or using Unfold you accept them. If anything here doesn't sit well with you, please write to us at support@unfoldcards.app before using the service.
Unfold is designed and operated by an individual, Desinta Laras — a person, not a company. These Terms are between you and her.
Using Unfold
Unfold lets you read reflection questions, write answers for yourself, save them to your private library, and — only if you decide to — share a reflection with your Circle or publish it on your personal page. Some of these features need an account; you can browse the questions and create a card without one.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done through your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, let us know at support@unfoldcards.app.
Unfold is not a place for regulated data: please do not enter payment card numbers, government ID numbers, biometric data or similar sensitive identifiers anywhere on the platform.
Your reflections belong to you
The reflections you write are yours. Unfold does not claim ownership of anything you create on the platform.
To run Unfold, you give us permission to store your reflections, display them back to you, and share them strictly according to the visibility you choose for each one — nothing beyond that.
The question collections, the Unfold name and logo, the design and the software itself belong to Unfold and may not be copied, resold or used to build a similar service. Please also share only content you have the right to share.
Privacy and sharing
Every reflection has its own visibility setting. Private means only you can read it. Your Circle means the people you have accepted into your Circle can read it. Public means a snapshot of that reflection appears on your personal page, which anyone with the link can view.
Sharing is always your choice and can be undone: unpublishing removes the public snapshot while your private copy stays in your library.
Once a reflection is visible to another person, they may copy it, photograph it or pass it on. We cannot recall what someone else has captured, so please share with that in mind.
Community conduct
Unfold works because people are thoughtful in it. Please treat others with the same care you would like for your own words.
Harassment, threats, hate speech, impersonation, exposing someone's private information, spam and unlawful content are not allowed — in reflections, private notes or anywhere else on the platform.
Notes sent between people pass an automated safety check before delivery, and you can report or block anyone from a conversation. We may review reported content and limit or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Reflection and wellbeing
Unfold is a space for reflection and journaling. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.
If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust, or to a professional or local support service. Unfold can be part of your routine, but it is not a substitute for care.
Changes to Unfold and these Terms
Unfold is young and will keep evolving. Features may be added, changed or retired over time.
If we change these Terms in a way that affects you materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Unfold after that means you accept the updated Terms.
Accounts: freezing, deletion and content
You can freeze your account, which takes your public page offline while your saved reflections stay intact. You can also request deletion: your page goes offline immediately, and after a 30-day grace period — during which you can cancel — your account and its content are deleted for good.
You can delete individual reflections at any time from your library.
We may suspend or limit an account that seriously breaches these Terms, and we will explain why when we do.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. This draft is subject to legal review before it takes effect.
Questions, requests or concerns: write to support@unfoldcards.app. We read everything.
